RPG stands for Role-playing games, a genre of games with the main focus of advancing a character through a storyline. This character, generally referred to as the player character or simply the protagonist, is set on a journey through the game's environment, where they will battle enemies and optionally complete tasks to move the plotline towards its conclusion. The games also often feature some form of morality choices where the player can choose to do good or evil, and their actions will affect the game world.
