Tycoon games are a type of business simulation game, characterized by strategic planning and resource management. In each game, the player's objective is to build, grow, and eventually maintain a successful enterprise in a simulated economy. The player is given certain resources, such as starting capital, skill sets, and geographic location, to help them set themselves up for success. Tycoon games can be divided into two main types: video games, and web browser games.
